Infantry Assault  Badge
Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen. Instituted in 1939, the  Badge was issued to personnel who took part in at least three infantry assaults ( including counter-attacks), armed reconaissence, hand-to-hand combat, or the restoration of the combat line. The bronze version of the badge was awarded to members of the motorized infantry.
